firstly, today we were really angry with pastamania for being veryvery late (about 45min or 1h late) and we didnt get to eat dinner at all because by the time they came, it was 615 and we had founders' day. but that wasn't the worst part. the worst part was that all the principals and ppl were awaiting the guest of honour or other guests of less honour in the foyer, and we were so afraid the pastamania would come at the same time as the GOH -.-
founders' day was really really awesome, especially with the good idea of having it at night. I think mr lim boon tat(uh oh hope this doesnt appear in searches -.-) did a really good job. And the performers and everyone involved like AVPA and the other teachers planning. If you actually stay back like us OMers or something, you can tell they work really hard because they're always having rehearsals, and even if they're not they are always around the amphi planning stuff. Even though were cooped up at the 3rd floor and stuff and wouldn't make much diff anyway, I was really hoping it wouldn't rain because if it did, most of their plans would be spoilt and it would be really disappointing for them after their hard work.
Oh I remember last year's speech day when I was supposed to present the GOH art gift or something, then I had to go for the rehearsals and stuff, and mr lim was i think the only one who really thanked me. He thanked me after the rehearsals and the day itself, and he was really nice. and sincere. (i can rmbr feeling really extra and stuff bcos onstage the emcees always only thank mrs hoo and the goh and i'll be left standing awkwardly) oh and today after founders day i was walking out when there was this mr lim-like person in the dark who seemed to be waving rather weirdly at me. ok apparently it was him. i think it's nice that he actually bothers to say hi and come to talk to students even though its like not very near. and he doesnt even teach me or something. you know when we always get scolded for not not greeting teachers? but ironically when i greet certain teachers rather nicely they completely ignore you even if they heard you. i think if i ever become a teacher or something like that i must remember this. he totally doesn't act like he's of higher status than students but because of this it makes him more respectable i guess.
woohoo, i finished almost the whole pizza and my mum and bro are getting a shock with my mum going "why you eat so much at once" and my bro screaming something with a mixture of "fatty fat" and "pig" or something -.-
